Jet fuel is real. “JP54,” as it appears in online petroleum offers, is not a recognized current commercial or U.S. military jet-fuel grade.
Legitimate aviation fuels are sold under defined specifications such as Jet A, Jet A-1, JP-5, JP-8, and TS-1. If a stranger is offering “Russian JP54” at a deep discount through a chain of mandates, with tanks supposedly full and waiting for your dip test, you are almost certainly looking at a fake offer.
Bonny Light crude oil is real. The offer in your inbox calling it BLCO is another matter… If a stranger is offering you BLCO at a discount, through a chain of intermediaries, with a vessel supposedly loaded and waiting, you are almost certainly looking at a scam.
Russian export crude oil is real. The REBCO offer circulating through WhatsApp groups, unsolicited emails, and long chains of “mandates” is another matter. Most are fake, commercially impossible, legally unusable, or built around documents belonging to cargo nobody in the chain controls.
